The cosy apollo MONDFLECKERL – under a preservation order, newly rebuilt building – serves modern Austrian tavern cuisine. It consists of a parlour with a fireplace, a light-flooded conservatory and a wonderful sun terrace.

A little sophisticated and yet also grounded. Here you can taste new worlds of flavour in local delicacies from morning to night. Wine sommeliers accompany your culinary journey into new spheres of enjoyment. And the 120 square metre sun terrace serves up the most spectacular views of Mondsee, Schafberg and Drachenwand.
We would like to point out that a fee of €30 will be charged for no-shows or cancellations within 12 hours.

How can I book a table?
You can book a table online or by telephone at the MONDFLECKERL inn or the AUSSICHTSDECK gourmet restaurant. Both are located directly on Lake Mondsee and offer indoor and outdoor areas.
Where can I park?
There is a large public car park just a minute’s walk from the Apollo. Only our hotel guests have access to parking spaces directly at the hotel.
Can I organise a party at the apollo?
Yes, the apollo offers a variety of rooms and catering for events. The MS MONDSEELAND can also be chartered for themed cruises, weddings and other events.
How can I book a table?
You can book a table online or by telephone at the MONDFLECKERL inn or the AUSSICHTSDECK gourmet restaurant. Both are located directly on Lake Mondsee and offer indoor and outdoor areas.
When does the apollo close?
AUSSICHTSDECK: Friday to Tuesday, 08:00 to 22:00 (breakfast from 08:00 to 12:00, hot meals from 17:00). Wednesday & Thursday closed.
MONDFLECKERL: Daily, 11:30 am to 10:00 pm (small menu from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm)
LANDEPLATZ: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, only in fine weather from April to October. Monday & Tuesday closed.
Can I take my table even when it's raining?
The AUSSICHTSDECK and MONDFLECKERL have indoor areas so that reservations can be made even when it is raining.
Can I come by boat?
Yes, we have several boat moorings.
Can I charge my electric car?
Yes, there is a large public car park just a minute’s walk from the apollo with charging stations. House guests can also charge directly at our car park.
Can I take my dog with me?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your well-behaved dog with you.
Do you have vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free dishes?
Yes we do! We recommend that you specify any special dietary requirements when making your reservation.
Can I come by without a reservation?
Spontaneous visits are possible, but reservations are recommended, especially in high season, to avoid waiting times.
Can I sit directly by the lake?
Yes, both the MONDFLECKERL and the AUSSICHTSDECK have terraces with a direct view of the lake.
Are there also shaded areas / sun protection?
Yes, the terrace areas offer both sunny and shady spots.
Is the apollo barrier-free accessible?
Yes, it is. The apollo has ground-level access, a lift and disabled toilet facilities.
Is there WiFi for guests?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the accommodation.
Is there a children's menu or special offers for children?
Yes, we also have a children’s menu.
Can I book a larger group (e.g. 10 or more people)?
Yes, we have separate dining rooms at the apollo. For groups of 12 people or more, please select a menu from our current menu or order from our small menu.
Are bicycles allowed / are there bicycle stands?
Our bicycle stands are located directly in front of the MONDFLECKERL restaurant.
How short notice can I cancel?
The AUSSICHTSDECK restaurant charges a cancellation fee of €30 in the evening. At MONDFLECKERL we do not charge any cancellation fees.
Do you sell vouchers?
Yes, vouchers can be purchased directly via the apollo website or at reception.
What are the opening hours on public holidays?
We are open on public holidays, even on our usual closing days.
Are there seasonal dishes or changing menus?
Yes, the apollo guides its guests through all seasons with regional products and thus offers seasonal cuisine.
